Dear friends and supporters,

A deep and heart felt thank you to each and every one of you for your contributions to UAlberta Pride Week. Your involvement and support brought a new-found visibility and sense of support to our campuses, the extent of which we may never fully comprehend.

One particular personal highlight occurred when a staff member thanked me for the flag banners, and said this was the first time they had felt that their University fully celebrated them. And that is exactly what we collectively did for students and staff alike!

Please view the attached chart to see some of the preliminary UAlberta Pride Week survey results. These findings and others demonstrate how we achieved our Pride Week goals of Increased Visibility, Awareness, and Celebration! We encourage you to share your feedback and reflections of the Week by completing our short survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZL8WR79

The feedback has been very positive, and a common suggestion for next year is to involve more student groups and associations! This will definitely help improve UAlberta Pride Week in years to come - you can help us spread the word!

A few of the many poignant moments are captured in these great Parade Photos [photo credits to Dirk Everaert] https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wq49zlib58pscz5/BQinPYPf0p

On behalf of iSMSS and OUTreach, THANK YOU!
